Foreign government debt rose during the first six months of the current fiscal year. Total debt at the end of December 2007 about 32.8 billion U.S. dollars, accounted for 13.4% This amount represents 20.8% of GDP, compared to about 29 billion dollars, representing 22.6% of output in the previous year.
