Consumer Protection Agency reported food commodities' prices hiked with different percentages during first half of Muslims' holy fasting month of Ramadan.
A study conducted by consumer protection associations said prices of rice, macaroni, flour, sugar, cooking oil, egg, cheese, meat, sauce and broad beans climbed and prices of milk, poultry, fish and lentil stabilized.
