Official sources confirmed that the Egyptian and Sudanese authorities could not contact the armed group that kidnapped the tourists last Friday. Meanwhile, Sudan announced yesterday that the 19 hostages are alive and in good health, and the Egyptian and Sudanese forces avoid any clash that may lead to killing some of the hostages.
